squandering of the wealth
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (RadhiAllaho anho) said:
The Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said,
"Verily, Allah Ta'aala likes three things for you and disapproves three things for you. He likes that you should worship Him Alone, not to associate anything with Him (in worship)and to hold fast to the Rope of Allah and not to be divided among yourselves;and He disapproves for you
irrelevant talk, persistent questioning and the squandering of the wealth.''

Why Do We Read Quran
Why Do We Read Quran, Even if We Can't Understand A Single Arabic Word????
This is A Beautiful Story.
An Old Man Lived On A Farm in The Mountains Of Eastern Turkey With His Young Grandson.
Each Morning Grandpa Was Up Early Sitting At The Kitchen Table Reading His Qur'an.
His Grandson Wanted To Be just Like Him And Tried To imitate Him in Every Way He Could. One Day The Grandson Asked,
'Grandpa! I Try To Read The Qur'an Just Like You But I Don't Understand it, And What I Do Understand I Forget As Soon As I Close The Book. What Good Does Reading The Qur'an Do?'
The Grandfather Quietly Turned From Putting Coal in The Stove And Replied,
' Take This Coal Basket Down To The River And Bring Me Back A Basket Of Water.'
The Boy Did As He Was Told, But All The Water Leaked Out Before He Got Back To The House.
The Grandfather Laughed And Said,
'You'll Have To Move A Little Faster Next Time,'
And Sent Him Back To The River With The Basket To Try Again.
This Time The Boy Ran Faster, But Again The Basket Was Empty Before He Returned Home. Out Of Breath, He Told His Grandfather That it Was impossible To Carry Water in A Basket, And He Went To Get A Bucket instead.
The Old Man Said,
'I Don't Want A Bucket 0f Water; I Want A Basket Of Water. You're Just Not Trying Hard Enough,'
And He Went Out The Door To Watch The Boy Try Again.
At This Point, The Boy Knew it Was impossible, But He Wanted To Show His Grandfather That Even if He Ran As Fast As He Could, The Water Would Leak Out Before He Got Back To The House.
The Boy Again Dipped The Basket into River And Ran Hard, But When He Reached His Grandfather The Basket Was Again Empty.Out Of Breath, He Said,
'See Grandpa, it's Useless!'
Grandpa Cleared His Throat And Asked 'So You Think it is Useless?'
The Old Man Said, 'Look At The Basket.'
The Boy Looked At The Basket And For The First Time Realized That The Basket Was Different.
It Had Been Transformed From A Dirty Old Coal Basket And Was Now Clean, inside And Out.
'Son, That's What Happens When You Read The Qur'an.
You Might Not Understand Or Remember Everything, But When You Read it,
You Will Be Changed, inside And Out.
That is The Work Of Allah in Our Lives.'

truly AMAZING
SOMETHING VERY AMAZING ABOUT MEMORIZING THE PAGES OF THE HOLY QURAN
I Would like to share with you a formula for memorizing the pages in the holy Quran.
Quran Has 30 Juzus (chapters)
For example
You want to know the 5th Juz of the Quran is on which page,
5-1=4
4x2=8
Take 5( the fifth juzu) – 1 = 4, the answer 4 x 2 = 8 then insert 2 after 8 which shows 82
Now look at the Quran and you will see The 5th Juzu begins on page 82.
Amazing isnt it!
Example 2
10-1=9
9x2=18
10( juzu of ten) – 1 = 9, the answer 9 x 2 = 18 then insert 2 after 18 which shows 182
Now look at the Quran and you will see the 10th Juz begins on page 182.
Example 3
23-1=22
22x2=44
23( juzu of twenty three) – 1 = 22, the answer 22 x 2 = 44 then insert 2 after 44 which shows 442
Now look at the Quran and you will see the 23rd Juz begins on page 442.

Man was asking about Islam
Narrated Sayyiduna Talha bin 'Ubaidullah (Radhi Allaho anho):
A man from Najd with unkempt hair came to Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam)and we heard his loud voice but could not understand what he was saying, till he came near and then we came to know that he was asking about Islam.
Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said,
"You have to offer prayers perfectly five times in a day and night (24 hours)."
The man asked,
"Is there any more (praying)?"
Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) replied,
"No, but if you want to offer the Nawafil prayers (you can).
" Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) further said to him:
"You have to observe fasts during the month of Ramadan."
The man asked,
"Is there any more fasting?"
Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) replied,
"No, but if you want to observe the Nawafil fasts (you can.)"
Then Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) further said to him,
"You have to pay the Zakat (obligatory charity)."
The man asked,
"Is there any thing other than the Zakat for me to pay?"
Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) replied,
"No, unless you want to give alms of your own."
And then that man retreated saying,
"By Allah! I will neither do less nor more than this."
Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said,
"If what he said is true, then he will be successful
(i.e. he will be granted Paradise).{ BUKHARI }

Surah Al-Fil ( The Elephant )
English Translation
In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
1 Have You Not Seen How Your Lord Dealt With The Owner Of The Elephant ?
( The Elephant Army Which Came From Yemen Under The Command Of Abrahah Al-Ashram intending To Destroy The KABAH At Makkah )
2 Did He Not Make Their Plot Go Astray ?
3 And He Sent Against Them Birds, In Flock,
4 Striking Them With Stones Of Sijjil ( Baked Clay )
5 And He Made Them Like An Empty Field Of Stalks
( Of Which The Corn Has Been Eaten Up By Cattle )
Tafseer Ibn Kathir Of Surah Al-Fil
The Story Of The Army Of Elephant ,
This incident Happened During The Perios Of The Birth-Year Of Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu Alaihe Wassalam.
The Abrahah Al-Ashram Was The Governer Of YEMEN On Behalf Of The King Of ETHIOPIA ( As Yemen Was A Part Of Ethiopia Kingdom ). Abrahah Thought To Build A House ( Like KABAH At Makkah )In SANA’S The Capital Of YEMEN .
And Call The Arabs To Perform The Pilgrimage There in SANA’S instead Of The KABAH ( Al Bait Al Haram ) in MAKKAH, With The Intention Of Diverting The Trade And Benefits Of Makkah To Yemen.
He Presented His Idea To The King Of Ethiopia Who Agreed To His Idea. So The House ( Church ) Was Built And He Named Ir AL-QULLAIS, There Was No Church Like It At That Time.
Then A Man From The Quraish Tribe Of Makkah Came There And Was Infuriated By it, SO He Relieved His Nature ( Stool & Urine ) in it, Soiled It Walls And Went Away.
When Abrahah Al-Ashram Saw That, He Could Not Control His Anger And Raised An Army To Invade Makkah And Demolished The Kabah.
He Had In That Army Thirteen Elephants And Amongst Them Was An Elephant Called Mahmud Which Was The Biggest Of Them.
So That Army Proceeded And None Amongst The Arab Tribes That Faced Them ( Fought Against Them ) But Was Killed And Defeated,
Till It Approached Near Makkah. Then There Took Placed Negotiations Between Abrahah Al-Ashram And The Chief Oh Makkah ( Abdul Mutalib Bin Hashim,The Grandfather Of The Prophet )And It Was Concluded That Abrahah Would Restore The Cammel Of Abdul Mutalib Which He Had Taken Away, And Then He (Abrahah Al-Ashram ) Would Decide Hinself As Regards The Kabah.
Abdul Mutalib Ordered The Men Of Makkah To Evacuate The City And Go To Tha Top Of The Mountains Along With Their Wives And Children in Case Of Some Harm Should Come To Them From The Invading Oppressors.
Then That Army Moved Towards Makkah Till They Reached Muhasir Valley.
While The Army Was Marching Towards Makkah. In The Middle Of The Valley ,
Suddenly It Was Overtaken By FLOCKS OF BIRDS, FLOCKS after FLOCKS, Air Raiding That Army With Small Stones Slightly Bigger hen A Lentil Seed.
There Never Fell A Stone On A Soldier Except It Dissolve His Flesh And Burst it into Pieces. So They Perished With A Total Destruction .
Abrahah Al-Ashram Fled Away While His Flesh Was Bursting Into Pieces Till He Died On The Way( Back To Yemen ) Such Was A Victory Bestowed By ALLAH ( The All-Magestic, All-Power ) To People Of Makkah And Such Was The Protection Provided By Him For His House ( Kabah In Makkah)
In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful

He(sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) asked, 'What is the matter with you
that I see you sitting in the masjid when it is not the time of prayer.
' He replied, 'I am very much worried and in great debt, O Messenger of Allah!'

Three verses of Surah Al-Hashr
Sayyiduna Ma'qal ibne-Yasir (RadhiAllaho anho) narrates
that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:
He who says (following words) in the morning three times,
"Aoodobillahis' samee il'aleem minash'shaytaan ir'rajeem"
(I seek refuge in Allah, the All-hearer, the All-knower, from the cursed satan)
and then recites the (following)
last three verses of Surah Al-Hashr, { 59:22-24 }
Allah will appoint seventy thousand angels for him,
who will continue to invoke blessings on him till the evening;
and if he were to die that day,
he would die as a martyr.
And the one who recites them in the evening,
he would be in the same rank.

HADEES (My wealth, my wealth)
`Abdullah bin Ash-Shikhkhir (RadhiAllaho anho) reported:
I came to the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)
while he (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) was reciting
(Surat At-Takathur 102):
"The mutual rivalry (for hoarding worldly things) preoccupy you.
Until you visit the graves (i.e., till you die).
Nay! You shall come to know!
Again nay! You shall come to know!
Nay! If you knew with a sure knowledge (the end result of hoarding,
you would not have been occupied in worldly things).
Verily, you shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)!
And again, you shall see it with certainty of sight!
Then (on that Day) you shall be asked about the delights
(you indulged in, in this world)!'' (102:1-8)
(After reciting) he (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said,
"Son of adam says: `My wealth, my wealth.'
Do you own of your wealth other than what you eat and consume,
and what you wear and wear out,
or what you give in Sadaqah (charity) (to those who deserve it),
and that what you will have in stock for yourself.''

"Shed tears for what you have done and repent by undoing what you have done wrong"
Does God exist
A Moulana went to a barber-shop to have his hair cut . As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and on various topics.
When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said
"Moulana, I don't believe that God exists." Moulana asked shockingly with annoyance, "Why do you say that?"
Barber argued : "Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist.
Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people?
Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving a God who would allow all of these things."
Moulana thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument.
The barber finished his job and Moulana left the shop. As soon as he stepped out of the barber-shop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkept.
Moulana took his steps back, entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber : "You know, what?
Barbers do not exist."
Now it was barber's turn to be in a shock, "How can you say that? I am here, and I am a barber. All know that. Just now I even worked on you!"
Moulana exclaimed, "No! Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."
Barber argued, "Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens is, people do not come to me. "
"Exactly!" affirmed the Moulana. "That's the point!
God too, DOES Exist! What happens is, people don't go to Him and do not look for Him. That's why there's so much of pain and suffering in the world."
** Just because something is difficult doesn't mean you shouldn't try!
It means you should just try a little harder!!

Funny, isn't it?
Imagine this happening to you...
One day during Jummah Salah, a 1,000 member congregation was surprised to see two men enter, both covered from head to toe in black and carrying sub-machine guns.
One of the men proclaimed,
"Anyone willing to take a bullet for Allah remain where you are."
Immediately, the congregation fled, and out of the 1,000 there only remained around 20.
The man who had spoken took off his hood, looked at the Imaam and said,
"Okay Maulana, I got rid of all the hypocrites. Now you may begin your sermon."
The two men then turned and walked out."
Too deep not to pass on?
"Funny how simple it is for people to trash Allah ... and then wonder why the world's going to hell."
"Funny how we believe what the newspapers say ... but question what the Qu'ran says."
"Funny how everyone wants to go to heaven ... provided they do not have to believe, think, say, or do anything the Quran says."
"Funny how someone can say 'I believe in Allah' ... but still follow Shaitaan (who, by the way, also 'believes' in Allah)."
"Funny how the lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene pass freely through cyberspace ... but the public discussion of Allah is suppressed in the school and workplace."
Funny, isn't it?
"Funny how someone can be so fired up for Allah on Friday ... but be an invisible Muslim the rest of the week."
"Funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of me ... than what Allah thinks of me."

LAILA-TUL-QADAR
"Surely Allah and His angels bless the Prophet; O you who believe! call for (Divine) blessings on him and salute him with a (becoming) salutation."
[Sahih Al-Bukhari : Volume 3, Book 32, Number 232]
Narrated Ibn 'Umar (Radi Allah Anhu) : Some men amongst the companions of the Prophet Muhammad (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) were shown in their dreams that the night of Qadr was in the last seven nights of Ramazan. Allah's Messenger (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) said, "It seems that all your dreams agree that (the Night of Qadr) is in the last seven nights, and whoever wants to search for it should search in the last seven nights of Ramazan."
[Sahih Al-Bukhari : Volume 3, Book 32, Number 233]
Narrated Abu Salama (Radi Allah Anhu) : I asked Abu Sa'id (Radi Allah Anhu) about the Night of Qadr and he said, "We practised Itikaf in the middle third month of Ramazan with Prophet Muhammad (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam). In the morning of the 20th of Ramazan, the Prophet Muhammad (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) came to and addressed us and said, " I was informed of the date of the Night of Qadr but I was caused to forget it, or I forget, so search it in the last ten nights of month of Ramazan."
[Sahih Al-Bukhari : Volume 3, Book 32, Number 238]
Narrated 'Ibn Abbas (Radi Allah Anha): The Allah's Messenger (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) said, "Look for the Night of Qadr in the last ten nights of Ramazan on the night when nine or seven or five nights remain out of the last ten nights of the Ramazan."
[Sahih Al-Bukhari : Volume 3, Book 32, Number 239]
Narrated 'Ibn Abbas (Radi Allah Anha) in this quotation: Allah's Messenger (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) said, "The Night of Qadr is in the last ten nights of the month of Ramazan either on the first nine or in the last (remaining) seven nights of Ramazan."
[Sahih Al-Bukhari : Volume 3, Book 32, Number 241]
Narrated 'Aisha (Radi Allah Anhu) : With the start of the last ten days of Ramazan, Allah's Messenger (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) used to tighten his waist-belt (i.e. hard work) and used to offer Salat (Prayer) all the night, and used to keep his family awake for the Salat (prayers).

ALLAH who gives us peace
one day i was running in the rain
having all my burdens n pains
unable 2 see as everything was dark
i was finding the way in the light of spark
cars were passing me side by side
i asked every1 can u give me a ride
they replied we cant as this is all your fate
And i was in dilemma 2 love them or hate
Tears on my face were mixing with rain
all my efforts were going in vain
I felt such fear n I felt so alone
pain of loneliness diffused in my bones
All of sudden a thought warmth my brain
as a cup of coffee in acute strain
i closed my eyes n said OH ALLAH KAREEM
shower your blessings , indeed you r RAHEEM
and what i saw when i opened my eyes
Believes there was a rainbow in blue skies
Everything was shinning and looking bright
Is it really me who was shivering with fight
Yes its only ALLAH who gives us peace with every hardship there is an ease..

Fear from ALLAH
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayra ( radi Allahu anhu ) reported:
the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said,
"Seven people Allah Ta'aala will give them His Shade on the Day when there would be no shade but the Shade of His Throne (i.e., on the Day of Resurrection): And they are:
a just ruler;
a youth who grew up with the worship of Allah Azza wa Jall ;
a person whose heart is attached to the mosques,
two men who love and meet each other and depart from each other for the sake of Allah Azza wa Jall ;
a man whom an extremely beautiful woman seduces (for illicit relation), but he (rejects this offer and) says:
`I fear Allah Azza wa Jall ';
a man who gives in charity and conceals it (to such an extent) that the left hand does not know what the right has given; and a man who remembers Allah Azza wa Jall
in solitude and his eyes become tearful".

Nikah of Hazrat Fatima (RA)
We Should Always Remind Aurselves Of The Marriage Of Fatimah (Radiallahu 'Anha),
The Daughter Of Our Beloved
Prophet Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wassalam
When Ali (Radiallahu 'Anhu) Expressed His intention To Propose For Fatimah (Radiallahu 'Anha)
Prophet Sallallahu Alaihe Wassallam Was Pleased And Asked Him if He Possessed Any Riches. When Ali (Radiallahu 'Anhu) Replied That Apart From A Horse And A Shield He Possessed Nothing, Prophet Sallalahu Alaihe Wassalam Said:-
" A Soldier Must Of Course, Have His Horse. Go And Sell Your Shield."
Ali (radiallahu 'anhu) Sold His Shield For 400 Dirhams, After Which Prophet Sallalahu Alaihe Wassalam Called Bilal (Radiallahu 'anhu) And Asked Him To Bring Some itar Perfume And A Few Other Things And Sent Anas (Radiallahu 'Anhu) To Call Abu Bakr, Uthman, Zubair (Radiallahu 'Anhum) And Some Other Men Of The Ansar. When They Had Arrived..... The Prophet Sallalahu Alaihe Wassalam Recited The Nikah Khutbah, Giving Hadhrat Fathimah (Radiallahu 'Anha) in Nikah To Hadhrat Ali (Radiallahu 'anhu),
He said:- " Bear You All Witness, I Have Given Fathimah To Ali For 400 misqals Of Silver And Ali Has Accepted."
He Then Raised His Head And Made Du’a.
After The Nikah, Dates Were Distributed And When Night Came, Fathimah (Radiallahu 'Anha) Was Sent Without Any Hue Or Cry in The Company Of Umme Aiman (Radiallahu 'anha).
The Prophet Sallalahu Alaihe Wassalam Visited Them, Made Du’a For Them, And Asked For A Basin Of Water in Which He Blew After Reciting The Three Quls. He Then Sprinkled This Water On Both, Hadhrat Ali (Radiallahu 'Anhu) And Hadhrat Fatimah (Radiallahu 'anha).
The Prophet Sallalahu Alaihe Wassalam Gave His Daughter A silver bracelet,
2 yemeni sheets,
4 mattresses,
one blanket,
one pillow,
one cup,
one hand grinding mill,
one bedstead,
A Small water skin
And An Earthen Pitcher.
And Advised Them That The indoor Work Should Be Done By Hadhrat Fatimah (Radiallahu 'Anha) And The Outdoor Work By Hadhrat Ali (Radiallahu 'Anhu).
[Book Of Sunnah - Mufti- Salejee.]
This is The " Ideal Wedding" which we should all be striving towards.
It Would Be To The Benefit Of Many if We Start instilling This in The Minds Of Children, Especially Young Girls.
We Should Encourage Them Towards Totally Following The Sunnah, And Not Just Doing So Selectively
-Eg:- By Following Whatever is Easy To Follow, And Then Emulating Other People in Others Aspects Of Life.
By Becoming The Slaves Of Our Nafs And Shaitaan....
Eg:- By Hosting Unnecessary And Elaborate Functions, We Are Only Hampering The Imaan And Futures Of Children:
How Can We Expect Them To Embark On the ibaadat which Nikah is, when this ibaadat begins with a series of sins?
It should be the pleasure of Allah [Azwa Jall] which we hope to attain, not the pleasure of misguided family members and friends.
One should endure their displeasure, rather than face the displeasure of Allah [Azwa Jall] 'Inshallah'.

Leading an Ascetic Life
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (RadhiAllaho anho) reported:
Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said,
"Look at those who are inferior to you and do not look at those who are superior to you, for this will keep you from belittling ALLAH, Subhanahu wa ta'ala's Favour to you.''
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
This is the wording in Sahih Muslim. The narration in Al-Bukhari is:
Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:
"When one of you looks at someone who is superior to him in property and ppearance,
he should look at someone who is inferior to him".

He likes that you should worship Him Alone, not to associate anything with Him (in worship) and to hold fast to the Rope of Allah and not to be divided among yourselves; and He disapproves for you irrelevant talk, persistent questioning
and the squandering of the wealth.''

My wealth
`Abdullah bin Ash-Shikhkhir (RadhiAllaho anho) reported:
I came to the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) while he (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) was reciting (Surat At-Takathur 102):
"The mutual rivalry (for hoarding worldly things) preoccupy you. Until you visit the graves (i.e., till you die).
Nay! You shall come to know!
Again nay! You shall come to know!
Nay! If you knew with a sure knowledge (the end result of hoarding,
you would not have been occupied in worldly things).
Verily, you shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)!
And again, you shall see it with certainty of sight!
Then (on that Day) you shall be asked about the delights (you indulged in, in this world)!'' (102:1-8)
(After reciting) he (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said,
"Son of adam says: `My wealth, my wealth.' Do you own of your wealth other than what you eat and consume, and what you wear and wear out, or what you give in Sadaqah (charity) (to those who deserve it), and that what you will have in stock for yourself.''
