Hadrat Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
"When a Believer is placed in the grave, he feels as if the sun is setting. Thus when his soul is restored he gets himself seated and tells (the angels): "Leave me to say salat (prayer) first." (Ibn Majah)
Mulla Ali Quari (Allah's mercy be on him) writes regarding the above hadith. "He feels as if he is still in the world and hence calls upon the angels to leave him for saying salat before beginning the question-answer session, otherwise he will miss his salat" Thereafter he adds: "only that person will utter such words who had been saying salat regularly and was always anxious for that."
This is a lesson for the persons who would fail to say prayer in the world.
